TLDR : Answer Summary
Thai citizens seeking a Schengen visa should consider their travel destination and purpose before applying. It is recommended to apply at the embassy of the first Schengen country they will enter. While some may prefer to handle their visa applications independently to avoid high fees from agents, it's important to follow all visa application rules closely.
You apply online. All an agent does is charge you money to complete the online form, which is simple enough. I've done it three times for my partner. Germany, Switzerland and France. Very straightforward. Answer the questions and attach the requested documents
There is an interview at the respective VFS office in Bangkok, although it's more to do with gathering biometrics and confirming documentation. VFS is merely the agency which collects the information on behalf of the embassy and is not involved in the decision making process
