Travel plan, travel tickets, financial resources/ sponsor evidence, Schengen insurance , evidence of job/reason to return to Thailand.

Get all docs together and present to VFS as part of application. It is easy if you follow the guidelines

ich sag dir wie es in Österreich funktioniert, Schengen Visa wird in Deutschland ziemlich ident sein. Meine Partnerin ist gerade erst wieder zurück geflogen. Ich muss immer zuerst zur Fremde Polizei in meinem Heimatort. Meldezettel, Einkommen und Mietvertrag und elektronisches Einladungsformular mitnehmen. Wenn alles passt gibt es eine elektronische Nummer, die der Botschaft in Bangkok übermittelt wird. Gleichzeitig füllst du für deine Partnerin das Einladungsformular aus, da steht nochmals alles drinnen, Wohnsitz, Erreichbarkeit, Kostenübernahme für alles etc. Weiters einen Einladungsbrief für die Botschaft, warum du deine Partnerin in Deutschland haben willst. Weiters den Nachweis einer für diesen Zeitraum gültigen Krankenversicherung zur Deckung aller Kosten ( stationär und Ambulant, kostet in Österreich € 60 für ein Monat ). Das Flugticket hast du idealerweise auch schon. Deine Partnerin braucht auch einen Brief an die Botschaft, warum sie nach Deutschland will. Einkommensnachweis ( z.b. Farmer ich bei meiner Partnerin ) , Dokumente von Kindern, Geburtsurkunden etc. ( Alles auf Englisch übersetzt, es müssen also Gründe bestehen, warum sie zurückgehen wird ). Alles bei VFS Global einreichen, dort werden auch die Fingerabdrücke genommen. Wenn alles komplett ist ( Liste auf der Homepage der deutschen Botschaft ) ist alles kein Problem. Geht bei uns immer klaglos ( auch ohne diverse Agenturen etc. ). Das ist es schon im Groben, auch wenn ich jetzt vielleicht Kleinigkeiten vergessen habe. Alles Gute und viel Erfolg.

I used an agent in Phuket that was great. Got 2 visa for my girlfriend to France which is Schengen Space. You can also do the application yourself for I recommend an agent for this one.

I just need a Visa for four weeks for my girlfriend.

Now my son will marry in August 2025. And we want to see them and want travel 20 days around Germany. After one month we want go back to Thailand.

its Not possible to do it Like that. You have to be in Germany to prepare the Verpflichtserklärung. Its Not possible to do that at the embassy from Germany.

But there is another way and that could go easy for you. Ask your son to make the Verpflichtserklärung and the invite Letter for.the marriage for your girlfriend.

When the Finance from your son IS good IT will be No Problem

they will ask for proof that she already met the son, by showing pictures and prove the relationship. Your grandious idea does not work, sorry 😂😂😂 Maybe it works if he father pretends to be the son? 😂 but that's fraud, and it will have consequences for future visit plans of the Thai lady

untrue. She can show Up that she is in relationship with the father and he can write this in the invite Letter that He invite her and him. And he never say that they son dont meet her before😉

You have enough time for that to prepare. In total May you need 4 weeks. Not more. She will get a Schengen Visa for 30 days. Your son is then in charge that she really go back.

The Visa was rejected. They noted....my girlfriend has no reason to come back to Thailand. I gave guarantee von covering all costs like hotel, flight and whatever.

I wanted to go to my daughter's married. I flew alone because for her no Visa.

this is one point the VFS didn't told me. I wrote something by myself that I will cover all costs. This document they took and send to embassy.

Later someone told me, there is a form for "Verpflichtungserklärung"

The VFS Website explains each needed document in detail. The obligation letter is a must.

your first mistake - an application to a "Schengen Besuchsvisum" needs your offcial "Verpflichtungserklärung". You can do it ( but only in exceptions) on the German embassy in Bangkok. But normally you must do that on the "Ausländeramt" of your home city and mail it to your friend in Thailand . . Did you read about all the details on the webpage of the German Embassy? I strongly doubt you read it

and in the invite Letter your son can clearify everything in Detail. Also Show Up Pictures from you and your girlfriend. He have to write that you both are coming and he take care of all payments from her.

my experience with them was very positive. But yes, they will look for reasons why the applicant will travel back to Thailand. Being your girlfriend and you covering the trip doesn't cut any ice. They want to see her connections to Thailand. Reasons why she won't just go there and try to stay there. Job. Kids in school. Owning a house. Etc. If married it's much easier though.

I have done already once with VFS global and was very unhappy.

They looking first to get the commission.

They sent my documents to German embassy, they knew before the documents was not completed. I booked special services with them, but the service was nothing.

Just charged a lot of money for nothing.

She need sufficient income here thailand, working and address etc. Letter from work that she has holiday.. Without job or great wealth visa is almost impossible.

I arranged many German visa invitations successfully and none of the Thai visitors were "employed", no employment contract, no holiday letter, ... They lived in a rural area with the typical agriculture-related jobs. And some of them are elder--already in pension receiving age.

I mentioned the same things. pension, self employed, married etc.
