all good. Most places will take major credit cards except discover. Discover isn’t a thing in Thailand really except maybe the major hotels. You’ll only need cash for Tuk tuks and street food. Everything else will take your card mostly. Go to an atm so you have some cash, otherwise chill and enjoy your stay.

Don't sweat it. Money exchanges on every corner (cash only). ATMs have English options. Probably best conversion will be from these.
