@Nongnuch *******
Nong Khai and Mukdahan refusal rate is 0%. There is not a single report of refusal from these two border ever, neither pre nor post 2017. Only exception is people who tried a 3nd visa exempt entry post-2017, since it was illegal until now. But I'm talking about the "officer discretion" non-sense some like to spew without any data to support their claims, like you just did. Stating that it can happen at any border, which is technically true, can lead people the wrong way when the refusal rate of some borders is 0%. When you find a refusal from these two borders, please let me know, I haven't.

My post was pretty clear... to avoid BKK and Phuket airport, and Poipet border, as these three are tough on repeat visa runners. You could have saved time by reading my post.

Yes, but the extension is optional. You can border run as many times as you please. You can get in and out 50 times per year if you want, that's the meaning of multi entry.

Yes, and even tho it appear too easy, it's been this easy forever in most other SEA countries. For example, in Cambodia, it's very easy to work as a foreigner and get 12 months extension every year. Vietnam is also easy. But Thailand was lagging behind.

I live 1h from Nong Khai border. I double checked my source with Tod Daniels. Ofc, it can change at any time. I can stay 150 days per entry (60 + 30 extension + 60 days extension based on marriage), for me most years I don't need to do a 3nd.

#1 No

#2 No, you get 180 days with each entry, each extendable for 180 days if you want to. So you can either 180 days x10, or 180 + 180 x5, or a combination.

#3 You get to stay until 5 years and 5 months.

It's often angry old foreigners not in that space who fear monger. There is no crackdown on digital creator, even more so with that new visa option.

Crackdown on Youtubers? There no such things. Again, I won't get into details but I don't know a single foreign Youtuber in Thailand with a Thai address linked to their ad sense.

You say that it's too good to be true, but if you look at Cambodia, Bali, Vietnam, etc, its all been like this for a while. I was living in Cambodia before and could extend 1 year at a time. Foreigner could easily work, everything was super easy. So Thailand is simply catching up to what his neighbors are already doing.

It's ed visa replacement. That's probably why they were rarely giving it anymore, it's all gonna be group in that new visa. I expect a list of like 10 to 20 things you can study or do.
