It's for visa runs (land borders). It was the rule in 2024 so that might be true for 2026 if nothing has changed.

For starting you need to declare minimum 80 000 baht income on your work permit for 3 years and register a yellow book for your address... There is also a waiting list by nationality and a Thai exams with several meetings with officials.(Just do a Thai children and put lands on his name if that's the purpose)

Here in Jomtien immigration , they give you up to one week to register the address then the fine is 1600 baht. You can register online your address when you arrive in Thailand, you only need to go to immigration to get a TM30 for an extension and that's how you could get fined. If they ask you so much money , just do a border run(60 days) instead of an extension(30 days).

A nomad is simply someone who doesn't qualify as resident so they have to leave before the end of their visa (usually 6 months)...A digital nomad would be someone making remote (abroad) incomes through an internet connection . They can be self employed , freelancer or working for a global company.

YouTubers in Thailand need work permits if they are actively creating content and earning income from it so they don't qualify as digital nomads.

seems that you are right: "As of November 2023, regular passport holders of 26 countries DO NOT need a visa for Vietnam."

Unfortunately i'm not from the listed countries I'm from Belgium.

The US-Thai Treaty of Amity allows US nationals to establish a 100% foreign-owned company with the same legal status as a local Thai entity. You have the most privileged nationality in Thailand , why would you give it up ...

Took me one month and I came without the visa I paid for ... They asked me PDF flight tickets on their last e-mail . I bought trough edreams and they couldn't provide me PDF tickets ... so buy your flight from Agoda or some website that will fit their requirements 🤡

It's flexible , you need to prove 800,000 baht in total for the year ... They would accept 12 x 50,000 pension with a 200,000 baht deposit on the account.
