The problem with this guy, is that even if he had been on his DTV, he would have ended up overstaying. In his comments he states that when he got his DTV last year, there was little information available for him to learn the rules. That means he thought he was on the DTV since 2024, well over 180 days and had not attempted to extend or exit on time at six months.
this guy applied via an agency while he was in Thailand. He blames the agency for not telling him when they sent him the visa that it wasn’t activated.
Anonymous participant yeah, you would assume they would get that you don’t have income, but they have been known to ask for things again. Maybe they are giving you a chance to show income before rejecting and not just rejecting based on the application statement.
Technically not allowed but some people have gotten away with it while others have been caught. Which consulate did you apply via and when did you apply?
