As everyone else said, there is a difference between your entry stamp (180 days) and your actual visa, which it sounds like for you is a PDF document. The reason some people have an actual full page DTV visa in their passport is because they went via one of the embassies that was not offering e-visas, and therefore had to apply in person. You should carry the PDF with you (or on your phone) every time you enter the country
Anonymous participant - No, you can not switch from a 14 day visa exempt to a 30 day tourist visa. Not sure why you would pick the 14 day visa exempt, when the Thai consulate in Phnom Penh says it on average will take 11 working days to process any visa. If you submitted on the 29th, you should expect to receive it (if all goes well with no additional requests) on Nov 12th. If any small issue, delaying it a day or two, you will then run into the holidays (14th and 15th are national holidays)
