Hello,
I am a US citizen who has been slow traveling abroad for the last two years. I'm looking to apply for the DTV Visa.
I am currently in Belgrade, Serbia. If I put that as my location on the application it defaults to the Athens, Greece embassy.
My question is, for permanent address should I put my US address, or should I put my Belgrade, Serbia address even though I will only be staying here two to three months most likely. Is it enough to upload documentation of staying at an Airbnb for a few weeks or is a lease agreement required?
Or can I put my permanent address in the US even though I am telling them my current location is Belgrade, Serbia.
Thanks guys!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a US citizen residing temporarily in Belgrade, Serbia, seeks advice on whether to list their US address or their current Serbian address as their permanent address on their DTV Visa application. They are concerned about the required documentation and whether a lease is mandatory or if an Airbnb stay will suffice. Community responses suggest providing both addresses, and some share experiences of using local addresses to expedite the application process.
