Hello,

I am a US citizen who has been slow traveling abroad for the last two years. I'm looking to apply for the DTV Visa.

I am currently in Belgrade, Serbia. If I put that as my location on the application it defaults to the Athens, Greece embassy.

My question is, for permanent address should I put my US address, or should I put my Belgrade, Serbia address even though I will only be staying here two to three months most likely. Is it enough to upload documentation of staying at an Airbnb for a few weeks or is a lease agreement required?

Or can I put my permanent address in the US even though I am telling them my current location is Belgrade, Serbia.

US citizen here: living in Croatia temporarily. I used my. Croatian address so the application was funneled through Budapest. Application sent and returned with approval in about 4-5 days if I recall. FYI.

Thanks Ed, could you please tell me specifically where on the application you use your Croatian address? There were at least two or three places on the application where they asked for an address.

Anonymous participant 319 Thanks. So the subcategories for when they ask that are going to be exactly what you stated, "current location" and "permanent address"? I have bank statements for the US address hopefully that is sufficient, don't really live in the US so can't provide utility bills. I can provide airbnb or if necessary at least agreement for Belgrade.
