It also sounds like your partner might be of the same-sex (according to your Oct. post, you said your wife). That might also be a problem as well, even if you got married in France. It won’t be until early next year that Thailand recognizes same-sex marriages

Why is the visa application process in Thailand considered outdated compared to other countries?

Europe also require this, but it can always be changed. Me and my Thai spouse had a very detailed 5-country agenda. We hired a company to help with the European visa. They basically scrapped our detailed itinerary and submitted something that showed us going to two countries. Still got the visa and went on our more detailed vacay

when canbodia went from in person to online, it increased. Also, remember, they are stopping receiving applicants for a few days before the 26th, which means those applying on the 26th might be greater than usual .
