Are there different visa exemption rules for Israeli citizens compared to other countries like the US or UK in Thailand?

Israeli for a brief time were allowed an extension due to the war (similar to the Ukraines).

This program was discontinued a while ago, (as well as the Ukraines). If I remember it was February or beginning of March

They are not allowed any longer than 1 x 30 day extension per entry again.

So it is possible he was telling the truth.

30 days visa exempt

30 days tourist extension 1900b

Plus and extra

60 days Visit Thai family extension 1900b

Total 4 months.

No it is not an overstay and has no bearing on your passport.

Remember once you have the visa.

Point of entry, travel dates and method don't matter.

You only need to prove these things to obtain the visa.

So cancelable flights will solve the problem...

Maybe consider an METV multi-entry tourist visa good for 6 months.

60 days on entry and 1x 30 day extension in country,

With a border bounce 6 months is easy.

With planning could get almost 9 months out of it.

If you purchase a tourist visa before entering it is 60 days and can be extended an additional 30 days locally.

If you enter without visa it is 30 days and can extend another 30 days locally.

the US embassy does not endorse income.

Therefore the first year will be 800k.

Second extension could be income of 65k deposited every month for a year before next application.
