Because they have a reentry permit, they will likely not be allowed to enter on DTV.

You cannot "switch" visas like that.

As the DTV is not activated, the nonb still is in effect with the reentry permit.

If the work permit is already canceled and you did not cancel the extension, then your reason to stay ended the day you stopped working, you may be subject to a hefty fine.

Should have canceled the extension before leaving Thailand.

I am curious to see how this works out.

You will apply via the Evisa system, from the Phillipines.

When you are approved you will print out the emailed document and enter Thailand.

Show the printed document with your passport.

All foreigners require proper stamps/visas/extensions to be in the Kingdom legally.

However the loophole is that there is no enforcement against children.

No consequences till 15 years of age.

They are still considered overstay but no fines or bans.

So yes a child can remain with parents in Thailand without consequences.

NO.

You have been granted a multientry Visa not requiring any requalification unless you try to extend in Thailand at Immigration.

You will be then subject to whatever criteria they ask.

IF you just leave and renter at 6 month increments you are clear of any further documentation.

That is the current Visa requirements and rules, however going forward you just never know what will change.

As it stands 6 months on entry, leave and reenter for 5 years.

DTV is a multientry Visa.

Nothing required to leave and return.

Each entry will be granted 6 months.

You're not technically even required to attend as it is "soft power" leisure/tourist activity.

There is no requirement to complete anything.

Like having a gym membership and never going, BUT you have a membership.

That is the Thai company business papers.

They want the proof that it's a legit company.

It becomes tricky if you are creating content IN Thailand.

Otherwise what you do quietly in your own privacy is your business.

No work in Thailand, no revenue in Thailand.
