TLDR : Answer Summary
This post clarifies the submission timeline for the TDAC (Travel Document for Arrival Card) for travelers arriving in Thailand. It outlines that travelers can submit their TDAC form online up to three days before their arrival date. There are multiple dates available for submission, depending on the arrival date. The comments reflect a mixture of criticism regarding the anxiety expressed over the TDAC form process, with some users suggesting that the process is straightforward and managed well at arrivals.

Jesper Ngiam there's a lot of people out there that aren't trusting the internet nowadays at all. Me included. So yeah it causes anxiety especially an older people. You don't want to break the laws. You know how many fake sites out there are? charging people for this service? I don't know either but there are fake sites on every country they look just like a government site or a service site. You should check the internet. One time they charged my card $375 13 times under four different company names. Entering Cambodia where cost 30 bucks. There's the anxiety. Then they have to throw their card away and get a new one That cost $100 right there to FedEx it takes two weeks. Even if the TDAC is free a lot of people don't know that and they'll go to these fake government sites and if they put in their credit card information they are finished. Cooked, Done. Now do you understand?

Lucky my bank caught it and flagged it It was already flagged as fraud but that card had $10,000 on it If those would have went through... It would have been a huge mess..

Sorry for you being scammed. My recommendation: Set the alerts on your card(s) so you get a text as soon as there is a charge. I usually get it within a minute.

@Peter *******
They didn't actually get the money My bank is excellent They caught all 13 charges in reported it as fraud without me doing anything I made the transactions just before I boarded the plane while I was on the plane of course my phone was off I didn't know about it till I touched down 4.5 hour's later

@Caress *****
Glad they caught it. But all the hassle and expense getting a new card. Bummer.

@Peter *******
Yeah that was a f****** hassle I'll tell you why I can't even get DHL or FedEx or any of those in Cambodia They don't have them. So it was like a couple of months later after I left Cambodia I could order it. Luckily I have many cards... 🤣🤣👍

feel sorry for u of being scammed....well first of all arrival card doesn't ask for credit cards details many countries already start using arrival cards like singapore, Malaysia Philippines... .as always there are stations set up with officers to assist foreigners who doesn't have a mobile phone or email address
Caress ******
@Jesper ******
Yeah you're right about that and I understand what you're saying but a lot of people don't understand that these websites that look like government websites online are fake. And many people fall for it. Thai people going to other countries like the ones you mentioned get scammed continuously by these sites just like they try to do with me. If you're not a frequent international traveler you won't know the difference.

@Caress *****
yes nowadays we have to be careful of the links we click....and alot of them come from FB where a short stories were told and in order to read the whole story u need to click on a link where it subscribes certain daily fortunes services where u don't even know it's there

@Jesper ******
I think that's exactly right It seems like Facebook has the algorithms that Target advertising to you especially when you're using internet to book flights stuff like that. All of these social medias sites are incredibly AI connected now. They know what you're thinking before you even think it.

I didn't know filling up a arrival card will bring so much confusion and anxiety? Just do it before boarding the plane most of the time u will be waiting at the gate with noting to do......even if u forget to do it u can still do it at the arrival hall before immigration counters

Many other countries have automated this now and it’s all on line, next will be the ETA and that will have risk attached to it as tourist tax will be collected when the eta is issued……I always check carefully when using any govt websites for visas and ESTA’s or ETA’s as scam sites abound - the upside of all this will be the end of queues at arrivals which will make travel more enjoyable

Worst case they have already setup terminals at arrivals to do it on-site with help available.

Wow. Up to 3 days before departure. What is so hard about that? If you are having anxiety or other health issues over this, just stay home. Because you will probably not be prepared in trying to open a bank account. You may have to be hospitalized. 5555

before arrival not departure There may be a huge time lag 😀

Nothing change... You just can do it beforehand if you desire... And not wait that someone gives you the paper in the plane as it used to be before.... 😂 Now it's just no paper... Online. That's it...!
Alexei ****************
Guys...... It's 3 days before max'.. You can fill it up 2min before... They even put some machine right before the immigration desk for the people who do not have a mobilephone...

If this arrival form, which is pretty standard around the world, is too complicated perhaps people shouldn’t travel🤣

@Anna ********
The people who cannot cope must be the same ones who always asked to borrow my biro to fill out their TM.6 on the aeroplane!

Anxiety? Over an online form? Is this a serious post?
Dave **********
@Jim *******
because there are keyboard warriors spreading their usual BS about this. 1 young blogger even told people it has to be exactly 3 days before! Wish admin would just ban the doom and gloom and BS merchants

counting 3 days backwards from arriving seems to be a mystery for some. And the number 3. . Can it be 4? 6? 10? No, it's 3.
