This group is awesome, been 11 days still waiting on my DTV app from the LA consulate. accidentally turned in investment account documents instead of traditional bank docs 😬 I emailed them waiting to hear back. Might have to transfer the funds to a normal bank. The money is not invested but it is in cash in my investment account.

thanks for the valuable input! So if it’s money saved in your bank 🏦 it’s not considered income? How do they determine that? Is it whether the income is earned in the US or digitally in Thailand 🇹🇭? Definitely confusing

So what counts as bringing money into thailand? Is taking money out of an ATM with a bank and card for your country tax liable if over the 180 day mark? Is that considered income on that basis? How strict are they about enforcing this? Will they make you pay taxes at immigration when they see you have been there for more than 180 days 😅

good advice I followed that because I saw so many posts. But I accidentally submitted investment account balances instead of traditional bank balances which I think might be a problem. Even though the cash is in dollars in a cash management account inside my brokerage I guess it has to be traditional bank. 🏦 so I emailed the consulate and asked if it’s a problem and if so I can transfer and resubmit my documents 📃 from a different bank. Hoping they don’t reject me and offer me a chance to do that if it’s an issue.

I would follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and website to learn more. There is information ℹ️ they also have a Line contact, and they have been very helpful in answering my questions

There are so many posts about loading a document and information changing that it makes me think their website is designed to do that to collect more payments, but I'm trying to not be paranoid. So many posts confirming to double check info with info being changed without even being touched.

Course. Some people have gotten accepted and some who are in south east asia denied. But it seems it has a pretty high acceptance rate from western countries. You can also study cooking or get certain types of on going medical treatments.
