What is the average cost of health insurance for expats in Thailand?

It’s very expensive. The other route is using clinics & government hospitals.

Idea of a MRI or CT which most hospital’s personnel will try to sell you even though no technicians nor doctors are capable of understanding…. Is around 1-2,000 US. It’s Thailand, selling expensive and in most cases, unnecessary tests is the way of the Thais.

I skipped mine for 6 months until my 90 day, the thai name on the residing residence handles that regardless if a foreigner owes it.

Everything before Covid was easy, now all backwards difficult. I need renew my drivers license but not getting help so will drive without a license after all I paid for the car. Wish good luck.

If want a bank account in Thailand, go and apply. If denied then hire a lawyer to help you. I have 5 accounts (unfortunately need get a new one for each province) & no issues.

Can I use 62 days of bank deposit for a Non-O annual extension instead of two full months?

If the money if sitting around, transfer early. I did 4 months, then in country, it sat around another 3 months for the 90 day. Seems reality money doesn’t need to be transferred until after a month in country.
