Its not about a crime against Thailand, it’s about if having a criminal record charged in your past, for some Visas but with the basic marriage, tourist, exempt & retirement you don’t need.

When asking questions be very specific, being vague will get vague answers.

If buy used, look thoroughly; if condo, same look thoroughly; if want build, map it out with full layout. Bank wise you just transfer.

Found building a house far more cheap than buying a condo. But if condo, despite a few $100,000 more, everything is accessible.

You guys are harsh, its not Bangkok. Everything will be fine whether 1 day or 90 days. Easy enough to verify your address at reporting. If want to be safe of a small fine, report it in a month & tell them you just arrived. I lived Ubon 15+ years, all is easy.

No. Just report it next 90 day report. Ubon has a very lax immigration.
