Yes, the office I went to is at Bang Na - Trat Road, about 15 mins from my BKK home, including U-turn (from my place).

A gentleman from Chiang Mai was with me, same service, he must have done the admin work remotely.

How long does it take to receive eVisa approval for a Non-O visa submitted from Australia?

I submitted my EVisa (non O, 90 days) 23. June 2025. and received Thai approval July 1. 2025. Osaka, Japan, Royal Thai Consulate. Took 5 business days. I am on that visa in Bangkok now, since July 3. 2025.

Do I need to buy health insurance in Thailand if I have US insurance that covers worldwide emergencies?

I had that comprehensive insurance policy, paid by my American employer, in Japan, for 15 years. It was about 1,200 US$ a month, paid by the company. CIGNA was the insurer.

All covered, whole family, worldwide, including dental.

Take it as the top and scale down to Thailand only.

Simply, you can not open a bank based solely on an account based on overseas bank account whatever money you may have in it. What you can do, said here many times, apply for an "Non Immigrant O visa, 90 days. Then your bank account counts, wherever you are,
