I usually get a 90day non imm o visa based on marriage to a Thai but now those visas have gone from nz$120 to Nz$800 I’m changing to the 60 day visa exempt then going to Cambodia for 7 days then back to Thailand for another 60 day visa exempt entry which times in with my flight back to NZ so hopefully no problems.I also have Thai bank account,Thai drivers licence and yellow Tabian Baan house book.

Spent 42 yrs in Australia,then retired and came back to NZ,now I was planning on living permanently in Thailand with my Thai wife and family so I rang Centrelink International services as I get Aussie pension paid through NZ WINZ and asked them for a portable pension and they told me I had to return to Australia for two yrs so at 73 yrs they can shove it up their you no where

$300 for a 60 day tourist visa from NZ now.Was $60 prior to fee increase

I use agoda or trivago to find a hotel then go to the hotel website and check their prices.Some hotels will give you a better price as they then don’t have to pay commission to agoda,booking.com etc

yes agree with that $300 for 60 day tourist visa.Ive booked to arrive Thailand early October so fingers crossed this 60 day visa exempt will be in by then.If all good by then will fly to DaLat Vietnam for the flower show then back to Thailand
