July n August flights are very pricey. Have to book 3 months before to get a good price n that is also expensive. Last minute booking is super expensive.

Opted to stay at home this year, however friends from Thailand are Iver in Switzerland. Thought I would visit (only short journey from London)bloody hell the prices astronomical. So staying in the UK it is.😥

TG. I don’t know what the deal is with TG. I suspect they get shot of seats through agents or sell to Government travelers. And then some people pay a fortune and it’s nice margins for them. Who knows.

Just back from UK last week Bangkok-Doha-Edinburgh-Doha-Bangkok. 64,000 baht for two of us in economy. Just under £1500.

If U use the same device to search then return to a flight , it logs u so they see u are returning.

Simple....... because you're being robbed by a bunch of thieves, before covid flights were between £350 and £450 for low season, and between £450 and £550 for high season return!! at the end of covid when they announced the world would be opening again, flights just doubled and trebled "over night" blaming the Russian and Ukrainian conflicts for fuel prices, complete and utter BS, they knew they could charge whatever they wanted, and people would pay it, because they was desperate to go on holiday again, as long as everyone is paying these ridiculous prices they will never go down again.

Before I moved to Thailand, I would visit in February and September/October because the fares were lower and Thailand was less crowded. July airfares are always higher.

Looks like prices go up for end of June then start dropping by end of July , I had to pay double what I normally do to fly tomorrow

I google search school holidays , & fly in term time , usually cheaper . Plus if you do a stop over ,its cheaper as less tax ( departure only ). So try a quick stop in europe or the middle east.
