my thoughts exactly. I never have more than 10k in my personal bank account. It's all invested but can easily be put onto the account to show it's there. But for some visas you have to show a regular salary over three to six months, that's why I'm asking. Glad to hear that in this case it's only the current state of the bank account. 😍
In my opinion it's very unclear. Because some countries are stated to be allowed to apply with a residence visa. But what about the rest? Can they apply no matter the visa?
i'm not an Immigration officer in Thailand, neither is anyone else in this group I assume.
Buuut, I would bet that it doesn't present a problem because it is still your passport number just with the added 'checksum' (a technical term you don't need to be concerned about).
Especially since it was issued by the Thai Embassy and they should know what they do. If you are overly worried just ask them again. 🙃
