oh ok, the reception here said they would. If we do get asked then we are sorted.

The majority of people won’t have a dead battery but they weren’t checking anyone in by the phones which would have meant not spending 1 hour in the queue. Every passenger took around 10 mins at the desk to go through a process which could take a few mins if QR’s used. If battery dead then use the persons printer documents.

Not sure why Heathrow isn’t using QR codes via mobiles as it would make the process a lot quicker.

Ok thanks. We are going to stay there regardless of when result comes back and if we have stay in room until morning then not a huge problem as will be tired from flying.

I’m staying there Friday. Once you received your negative result (sounds like around 10pm) could you leave the room and go out?

Or did you have to stay in room until check out?

I’ve had two flights cancelled. A Gulf Air flight back to U.K. in early January. New date 36 hours later. And also CM to Krabi moved by 24 hours.

Yes , if negative then free to go anywhere in Thailand, but also only if person next to you on the plane is negative too after the 1 day at SHA+ hotel.
