What are the current COVID-19 travel requirements for returning to the UK from Thailand?

Flying back to London Heathrow today on Gulf Air with layover in Bahrain.

At Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport check-in they wanted to see:

- Fully Vaccinated Covid document

- A negative Covid test within 48 hours (We had ATK done yesterday, see negative letter below)

- The Passenger Locator Form document (They took picture)

- Evidence of PCR (Day 2) booking for when back in UK

Overall had a good trip to this wonderful country but I must admit the constant worry of the next Covid test and the seemingly ever changing government announcements (Both Uk and Thailand) does constantly play on your mind, so much harder to relax than pre-Covid trips.

The UK is probably going to dump all or most these requirements very soon, possibly today, as they are pretty pointless.

Yes, those are the forms required for departure and entry into the UK at present.

Some airlines require a PCR test rather than a antigen test.

I agree, stressful, particularly the last few days of your trip.

Had exactly the same dilemmas 2 weeks ago

We are fully vaccinated and have to isolate at home until we have a negative PCR test. I’ve booked our test at clinic for 5 hours after we land, so can get results ASAP. Called a Day2 test.
