I believe as long as you have a revenue generated from work done in Thailand (regardless of whatever job it is), legally you would need a work permit.

Read back previous post in the forum. Not going to waste my time searching all the postings just to prove my point. Anyway it's not my problem if someone is expecting the covid extension would be approved because somebody here said they give it to EVERYONE. For that person sake, I hope it is approved but if it doesn't, good luck with that.

Nope they didn't. Quite a number of covid extension applications were rejected before and there were many people posted about their experiences on fb.

it may be available but it is at the discretion of the officer to approve or reject the extension.

The country already opened up for awhile now. I doubt they will give Covid extension anymore.

When a job is officially offered to you, then you can apply for a WP with supporting documents from the company.

Yea but if you caught the covid bug and becomes quite ill, you will be admitted to hospital and in Thailand, everything is double pricing. One for local and another for foreigner. I can't imagine insurance would be very costly, no? I just bought my travel insurance which has covid coverage for 30 days in Thailand for MYR85 (USD19).
