Tod, at some time, will you be providing the same detailed info with regards to the Non Immigrant 'O' Visa? For long stay multi entry.

How do I make an application for a "Non-Immigrant Type O (Retirement (pensioner aged 50 or above with a state pension who wants to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days) - single entry only)"???

The only option in the E-Visa Application process on the Thai eVisa website is for a Tourist Visa (TR). I have double-checked that all my personal details have been correctly entered.

In order to take this option: "You could transfer in to the country 800K baht and then get a Non-O visa and year extension based on being over 50.", would the funds not need to be in a Thai Bank Account at least 2 months prior to making the application? I only managed to open a Thai bank account yesterday, although my personal UK Bank Account shows sufficient funds but only from 14th August.

This is not an option as I am separated from my Thai wife and she will not assist with the following requirements:

5. A copy of Thai house registration of spouse/parent or child

6. A copy of Thai ID card of spouse/parent

7. A copy of passport of spouse/parent

no, what I am saying is that I cannot rely on my Thai wife, so a family visit visa is out.
