Patrick, thank you for this step by step check list. Question: I'm an American retiree with a Thai wife, I've got the "O" multiple yearly visa that will expire this coming 29 April, and my 90 day is on 06may. I have to do two things a) yearly visa b) reentry 90days. Should I do the same you did on April 20 to make it 2weeks window for my 90 day and still good for my yearly. Did you need a health insurance? What letter should I need from US embassy? Thanks for any input.
Truly unbelievable, it's given fact that there are thousands and more of foreigners in Bangkok and surrounding city. Why and yet they have to close some offices due to large foreigners waiting to be processed to make things updated, legal and avoid fines. Instead of adding more IO to process they're working at their own pace than accelerating, some foreigners are retired seniors or have disabilities and would truly be at disadvantage plus the virus. Praying that the dept. of immigration be aware and empathize with the foreigners situation. It's a revenue for the country.
Much appreciated Mike, do they have volunteer's like you in Chengwattana? I just really want to be well advised with all these "do's and Don'ts" requirements. I'm a retiree with "O" visa leaving since 2013 over 60 and with Thai wife. Just concern with this pendemic, I want to prepare complete documents for a one year multiple so I need not go back again. Is there some kind of cheat sheet check list guidelines? Thanks admire your passion and volunteerism wish I could once I'm proficient. Stay safe.
