TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you are holding a multiple-entry Non-O marriage visa, you will need to perform a border run every 90 days or less. Alternatively, you could apply for a 60-day 'visit family' extension on each entry. To avoid border runs and stay in Thailand for a year, consider applying for a one-year extension, which requires having 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account in your name.

I think the set up was meant for life every 90 days reporting or exit.

No

that is not correct

Terrible that the security threat is left to sort itself out on Facebook. Wife is not entertaining it either as can't make head not tail of it. Prepare in advance and it changes with the weather.

To stay a year you need to do a one year extension which requires 400K baht in a Thai bank account in your name only. Enter on a single entry visa and apply for one year extension if you qualify and do not want to do border runs.

or show 40k a month coming into a Thai bank every month?
Steve *******
Yep. Every 90 days or less. You can also apply for a 60 day 'visit family' extention on each 90 day entry.

only on one of those entries, once in the life of the visa.
