To my surprise it took only 24 hours. Application approved. The only difficulty was what part of my home address to fill into which field of the form (house number, soi). But it worked. Good experience with an Immigration Office App this time.

She can get a temporary passport at the Thai embassy or Consulate. With this passport she can enter Thailand and get the ID card and the permanent passport.

Thanks. This really got me confused. Moved to Sattahip last year from Chiang Mai, never had any Immigration problems during the 6 years there. But I noticed some details are handled differently in Jomtien. They also want copies of the chanote of our house, my wife being the owner, whereas in Chiang Mai the Tabien Barn was sufficient.
