If she owns the condo then moving her name in to condo's blue book can be done easily and saves you a lot of paperwork with the immigration.

Many immigration officers want to see proof that the married couple is actually living together in the same place (fotos, house visits, neighbors who can testify)

I do every year. Just need a current lease with tax stamps (what my office wants) to submit with the docs. Check with your local office on what they want for proof of living at the address on your application. If your wife owns the property you live in and she has a tambien baan for it then that should be all you need. If you own the condo just prove you own it.

MOST thais have their house book listing at the family address

Nope there is no requirement that you apply at the office in the area where your wife has her house book listing,

The requirement is that YOU have a TM30 (notification of foreigner in residence) filed and can prove you live in the area of the immigration office you're using. Many thaiz have house book listings in one province yet live in a different one
