@Benjamin *****
all of what you just said seems accurate. I never said it would be easy, just I think I can be done. It’s my understanding that the COVID extension is based on whatever your last visa was, so for him it would technically be a temporary covid extension of his non-b, which is why as company director if his own business or even as a new hire for a company that meets the requirements, it would be possible to get a non-b and work permit.

If I’m wrong, then I apologize. Maybe Tod knows better

I believe you can keep your company as long as you continue your accounting, taxes, etc. but you will need to cancel your work permit and your non-b, then apply for the 60 day covid extension before January 29th.

You might still be able to reinstate your non-b and wp, if there’s no lapse in visa, if all your company requirements (with employees, social security, etc) can be met in the near future.

I also just came from CW, and was stamped to 29 January. They made up for the days I lost by going early last time. Nice surprise

@Tab ****
it is from date of application. IMO it’s worth it to not wait till last minute and stress with the huge mass of people

@Bashir ******
I would say yes, although as pointed out here, you can’t legally work in the interim
