if you haven't gone to MTT yet, save yourself the trip, they're only stamping people from the day they go in for their appointment so you'd be missing 2 weeks or so on your new visa.
.. Can someone point out the exact part where it mentions this..? Just translated the gazette into English, not sure if I'm missing something - but it only mentions the amnesty being extended until Oct 31. Nothing about foreigners who have applied for their extensions prior to Sep 26 receiving an extension until end of November?
If you're using any ad-blocker/privacy extensions try turning them off, usually does the trick on these immigration websites (solved an issue I was having on the TM30 page).
Any hassle with the embassy letter or was printing it out (in black&white) enough? Have heard about officers asking to see the 'original'/see the letter on your phone etc even though most embassies are issuing this online.
In case this means anything: the appointment page was just updated today, with the booking type being renamed originally from "Tourist Visa Extension" *specifically* to "Tourist Visa issued by Thai Embassy or Consulate". A sign that on-arrival/visa-exempt foreigners may be singled out? ππ½
