Just came back for looping stamp today on TR60 visa. It’s a long que for no reason. Met the annoying officer and stamp to 24 Jan, not 31 Jan actually although paid 1900 baht. Very much dependent on mood of staff actually.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the challenges faced while obtaining a loop stamp on a TR60 visa in Thailand, particularly focusing on long queues and variability in service depending on the immigration officer's mood. A participant mentions receiving a stamp until January 24 instead of January 31 despite paying 1900 baht for the extension. Comments highlight the process of applying for a 60-day extension, the importance of the date of application, and issues regarding appointment scheduling.

Adam R I was told to queue in long line this morning also... moved half line, then found out it was wrongly told for TR60 . That’s long line is for some type else. TR60 come to loop stamp, just use the stamped date to show and go to 3rd floor... very empty.

I'm in line at MTT right now for stamp, they don't seem to be checking appointment but I was told to wait in line anyway. Long line.

The 60 day extension is granted from the date you apply for it not the date your current stamp expires. Totally NOT the whim of the officer :( almost all the offices are doing it that way now .

What date did you APPLY for the 60 day unable to travel due to covid extension? Was it on Nov 26th?

might be a good idea to post an announcement informing everyone the extension begins from the date of your application and not

, I sense a bunch of confused people posting on here this week about how they only got 50-something days and not 60.

it is from date of application. IMO it’s worth it to not wait till last minute and stress with the huge mass of people
