definitely do not disconnect. I have lived outside of the states since feb 2016 with the same TMobile number and plan and have never had an issue.

I can 2nd T-Mobile. I keep the eSIM from them and AIS in my phone always. When I go back to the states I don’t have to worry about it. When I get here same same. I just switch who is primary. Well worth it for me.

100% not true. For 6 years my visa extension money has been in a fixed account like he is asking about. Perhaps, like many other things, it’s individual office dependent but in Jomtien it’s 100% acceptable.

You’ll never have an issue with Bangkok bank.

You can do it anytime before arrival or at kiosks when you land.

I have a “fixed account” that is my 800K and I never touch it. Once a year when I get my letters for immigration I take some of the earned interest out for my “same day transaction”.

Then I have a standard debit card account with the same bank. For me it’s just really easy this way.

When I go ask for 3 months statements for immigration it’s maybe a page total.

There are a lot of sad, pathetic, jaded alcohol fueled Neanderthals in most of these groups. Dismiss the BS and listen to the constructive feedback.

If you have the money in the bank and get the one year extension and a multiple re-entry stamp I pay baht.

They called me about 2 hours before the visit because that’s how long their drive was. They just talked to us and neighbors as well my mother in law. Hilariously she got most of questions they asked wrong. In the end they didn’t care. We were all laughing about it.
