Go to a different bank ATM for another $20k or $30k. At 7-Eleven there are often two different bank atms. My Retirement visa, one year extension, and opening of Bangkok bank was a little over $30 and I had to do this.
ahhhhh I see, maybe it was just capped at 30k a day for me for krungsi when I paid my 42,000 surgery fee once

You could just ring your bank and ask them to raise your limit for 24 hours, they should be able to do it or ask if the place you're using can take a card payment, you could even get their bank account details, set up a wise account and make a payment to them through the app, this would actually be the cheapest way to do it as you just get changed a really low fee so you won't have to pay the 220thb ATM fee and your banks conversion and overseas transaction fee
yeah its definitely the best and easiest way to get money to Thailand I've been using it since 2016, the fees are the cheapest and payments take seconds

Hate it when people ask a question, several people answer.. and then they don’t even reply
obviously your response time wasn't fast enough. How dare you be busy doing something else!
Actually I hope the educated responses gave you the info you need. Usually the limit on daily withdrawal amounts is a combination of your issuing bank and the ATM's banks' limit.
I hate it more when people ask about using an atm and then are referred to visa agents… 🙄
But of course you are right that the maximum answering time must be within 15 seconds after posting and it’s forbidden to…. have a life, or something? 🤣

Well is it a Thai bank or overseas bank—not enough info—but sounds like an overseas bank—increase your atm limit on the app—you also dont say how much—draw 30 k before 12 midnight and 30 k after midnigjt—if its an agent—you can swipe card—then you have proof as well

you dont have a thai bank account and scan to pay?
it's the same Visa/MasterCard rate you get at the ATM, just without the 220B Thai-side fee. It's a cash advance, your home bank may or may not treat this differently and if it's a credit card you pay interest from day 1 but that's the same with an ATM.
yes. Just a really rude and unpleasant person. The list clearly says she needs to pay for her visa. Does not say she's trying to pay a credit card bill. 🤦
I was focused on her question. Reread it and see the same question about using an atm to take a large amount.
I am not surprised about “I have to pay a large amount for my visa”. It’s the way people write. “I paid 400,000 bath for my visa”. Likewise people write “I have a marriage visa” or a “retirement visa” while such a visa doesn’t exist.
Meanwhile the question is about getting large sums of money using a foreign card and being limited when using an atm.
yes it is. They said "I need to pay FOR my visa", not "with my Visa". There's a BIG difference. If they are using an agent, they may need 45k baht or more.
most likely a non B, education or volunteer visa, obviously the visa is only 1900 but all the paperwork that goes with it and fees is what the rest is made up of, company set up etc
