yes, you pay on departure and It’s 500 fine per day. I have overstayed 3 times by a couple of days, over the last 10 years. No issues on re-entry. That goes for me and many others I know.
waste of time. Easier to go to immigration centre and pay for an extension. Or even easier, take a 1 day overstay and pay 500 baht fine. And before any scaremongering, I’ve got 3 on my last passport, it’s a non issue.
having a paid agents won’t make it faster. It’s down to the decision making office, which is in India, for some reason 🤦♂️ Agents just know what the decision makers want to see, so you’re less likely to get rejected.
Buy a throw away ticket for $15 for onward travel. You’re going to have to do a border run. On day 29 extend 30 days and then on day 59, go to a border. Kind of daft you left it until 2 days before travel… could’ve saved yourself the effort. But no point on dwelling on it now lol. Just get the onward travel ticket to save yourself hassle at your home airport. I have been allowed on a flight with a later return, lots of times tbh. Flutter your eye lashes and say you’re traveling around se Asia and may get away with it. But easier to spend the $15
it’s a decent rate compared to the last couple of months. It’s on the top end. But saying that, no one has a crystal ball and knows what will happen in the future. Can only go on pasts comparisons.
