TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about their stay in Thailand, as they usually book flights with Thai Airways allowing them 32 days in the country, but have now booked with Eva Air for only 31 days. They are looking for options to extend their stay legally or manage their itinerary. Comments from the community provided various suggestions, including options for a quick border crossing, paying a fine for overstaying, or spending time at the airport.
waste of time. Easier to go to immigration centre and pay for an extension. Or even easier, take a 1 day overstay and pay 500 baht fine. And before any scaremongering, I’ve got 3 on my last passport, it’s a non issue.
yes, you pay on departure and It’s 500 fine per day. I have overstayed 3 times by a couple of days, over the last 10 years. No issues on re-entry. That goes for me and many others I know.
