I came back into Thailand from the UK with a new passport only to find I could not accompany my gf to Vientiane until my old passport stamps were transferred into the new passport, even I presented the old passport as well. There are many ways to catch a cold in the land of Smiles.

my fiancee has already applied for a new CENOMAR. I have a certified copy of my Divorce from the UK which is now almost 18 months old already. I tend to research the requirements and do the legwork myself instead of using an agent.

Thanks for your suggestion Chris. My first option was Marriage here in Thailand but complications with Philippine laws have given us a problem.

Can you say why Hong Kong is a preferred location for marriage. We will probably have another shot at marriage.
