I got mine Thursday. You need to go through immigration number 2. Once you've gone through security (scanning bags) as you go down the escalator look to the right. At the far end is the 're entry stamp. There was no queue and it took me less than 5 min.
Cost is 1200 they take photo and print form all filled in.
Or take your own form all ready filled in and a photo.

Hi we got retirement visas. The British embassy will do you a letter if you show the money in your uk bank account. The letter costs 2500baht. That letter then you can convert a o visa to a retirement visa. No need to bring your money into Thailand.
