Hey everyone,

I know I can get a re-entry permit at immigration, but I was told I could also get one at the airport?

Does anyone have any information on the airport? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can obtain a re-entry permit at the airport, but the process may vary depending on the specific airport and time. Most users report that it's straightforward and can be done quickly at immigration counters, with costs around 1200 THB. It's recommended to go to immigration area 2 and ensure you have all necessary documents. However, be prepared for possible lines, especially at larger airports like BKK, and allow extra time if you're catching a flight.

Yes, supper easy and fast. Just have all you need and allow some extra time. It took me 10 minutes, no line. But might be different time to time. Also depends on the airport, there is might be some working hours limits

Might be worth establishing which airport you're talking about?

I got mine Thursday. You need to go through immigration number 2. Once you've gone through security (scanning bags) as you go down the escalator look to the right. At the far end is the 're entry stamp. There was no queue and it took me less than 5 min.

Cost is 1200 they take photo and print form all filled in.

Or take your own form all ready filled in and a photo.

Very easy. But you must use immigration 2 which is about in the centre of the airport.

That’s sound right. I had a picture and papers and only paid 1000

But lines are long at the airport (BKK) and it would be a shame if you missed your flight due to waiting.
