Every immigration office seems to interpret the rules differently. Talk to them.

My immigration office won't accept bank statements without a proof of income certificate from my home embassy... Uk, Australia and US embassies don't provide this, so I'm forced to use an agent...

for proof of 800,000, they want 12 month bank statements with a certificate from the bank, but won't accept 12 month statements and bank certificate for income... Very annoying

Check your statements. I was transfering to Krungthai, selecting funds for long term stay, assuming it would show as International Transfers... Never checked... When I did, eventually check, I found Krungthai don't show international transfers... So switched the transfers to my Bangkok Bank account and they are listed as International transfers. Doesn't matter what reason I select in wise, they all show as International on Bangkok Bank statements..

All totally irrelevant tho, because my local immigration insist on a proof of income certificate your embassy... I'm from the UK and the British Embassy refuse to provide it...

Check with your local immigration office

Sending by post is usually cheaper than currier. You may get taxed, but it will be the correct amount, as per the import duty tarrifs.

Fedex, UPS, DHL, will always tax you and, use their magic formulas... 7% can and often does, magically become 150-200%

When I opened a bank account in Ubon Ratchatani, back in 2015, I couldn't figure out how to get a certificate of residence from immigration, to allow me to open the account. Bangkok Bank allowed me to open an account with the Head Man from the village signing as guarantee...

Ubon immigration said they would only give a certificate of residence after I'd lived there for 12 months...

When I needed certificates of residence again, for driving licenses and car and bike registrations, I found out that in Ubon, the Tourist police issue them.

Ubon immigration is a bit of a trek and very unhelpful, or was then, so you might find it easier to use an agent

Doesn't matter, don't worry about it

Immigration here, say that is not enough. They insist on an embassy certificate... My Swedish, German and Irish friends just pop to their embassies, get the certificate and do the extension for 1900 baht. The British Embassy don't provide this

first couple of years I was transfering into Krungthai and didn't check the statements. When I did check, I found Krungthai dont list the transfers as International... Switched the transfers to Bangkok Bank and they are listed as International, on the statements
