not helping the economy, more money in the economy chasing the limited amounts of goods and services, equals inflation. When expat comes in and is willing to pay more for an apartment or condo, it means that Thai person does not have the opportunity to competitively compete for that same apartment based on their income. It will drive the citizens away or increase prices for them. If the amount of goods and services does not increase, it does not make life better. The gentrification of Thailand is a real possibility, and we can at least acknowledge that fact.
But you know, China is making it easier to obtain Visa as they are seeking more expats. π€·πΎββοΈπ.
Drug use by young adults is extremely high in Thailand. Many are smoking methamphetamine for cheap. It's a real problem unfortunately. Too cheap and too easy to get. Other drugs as well amongst the kids. ππΎππΎ
Book another hotel and then dispute charge with your credit card company. Tell them your complaint. Not sure your travel insurance will cover you..all worth a shot, but me personally I would just book another hotel, even of it's just to take showers in. π.
sure was not quite clear of all the requirements needed to be met or just one requirement to be declared a wealthy individual. The 500k invested in Thailand would be a challenge.
Did you do FBI check or local? When I was adopting I wrote down a disorderly conduct charge. There was absolutely no record of it anywhere. Took me more effort to explain why there was no record of it, I had to get affidavits from city and state saying they could not find a criminal record. Moral of the story don't disclose frivolous stuff, especially if you had no conviction on a misdemeanor π€£.
For 90 days you can just buy an annual travel insurance. But, I don't know at your age it might be expensive. My yearly travel insurance is $138 USD. That gives me 45 days of travel. The premium plan would give me 90 days at $400 USD. I also have credit cards insurance. Plus my medical insurance will cover world wide. I am speaking from the standpoint of a vacation traveler.
