I am so confused. I have read that an agent, to get my bank account and Visa, will only cost 5000Baht? = $150.00 US? Hire Agent before I leave USA. I will come over on my passport, agent will help me get bank account, insurance, Visa. Is this correct? Please do not say, its easy I can do it myself. I don't want to. I am 77, and I need help. I will have a round trip ticket. and a place to rent. I will look for a more long term once I get to Hua Hin. I have the money in my bank to deposit 800,000 once account is open. I have income of $1500.00 a month, with much in my savings in USA. I am thinking about using Siam Law group. for this. Because if I decide to buy a condo, down the road, I would want a law firm to look at all the papers in buying a condo.
