filipina would spare you the car and the dowry . even the house for a while , but you will be locked in supporting the entire family including grandparents, nephews , aunts , uncles . I think the Filipino culture is far more brutal in that regard. From my experience if you don’t send their family money in the Philippines they will threaten their daughter daily. I would say the Filipino culture is far more out of touch with reality than the Thai culture with regard to money trees in the backyard.

you’re actually not far off from your assessment . But it depends who you marry. I would say you’re closer to someone marrying a young virgin than someone who’s marrying a woman with three kids and has been around the block a few times

Why do you have to ask other people what you should do with your time go online and search out the country and find a destination that would suit you. Chances are you’re gonna get people telling you what they wanna do . we have no idea what your budget is or what you’re capable of spending. I would tell you to jump on / rent a yacht and go travel over nearTrang near the sea, where the beaches are beautiful.

In my opinion, if you’re not visiting the most beautiful beaches in Thailand, you’ve wasted all of your time all of your time is a tourist. But maybe you like to drink beer and hang out with whores I have no clue . If that’s the case, just stay where you’re at to each his own I guess.

You can bring 5 million USD in a suitcase if you want. Who cares if you have to declare it or not. Unless you didn’t pay taxes and you’re running from the law. US Customs tells everyone before they board the plane to Thailand you can bring as much as you want , just have to declare it if over

Why would anyone sell their money back? Especially if you get a good rate. if you’re planning on going back to Thailand, just bring the Thai baht home with you, then you have it for the next trip. There’s a good chance. Next time you come to Thailand, the price might drop. You should only exchange what you’re planning on spending anyway, just losing money selling the Baht back.

they’re definitely trying to take you to the cleaners. prices are ridiculous even for Sim cards for phones. They charge like two or 300 baht more than like 7-Eleven or one of the stores in the mall.
