I want to apply for DTV next week at Kuala Lumpur. Their website has a list of 5 documents required for the soft power-related activities, but the Checklist_DTV.pdf at the bottom of the same page has 8, the extra ones are rental agreement and payslips/income proof.

Do you know what they actually ask for?

Does anyone know if Laos or Penang/KL consulates are still doing the 60 day tourist visas for Thailand? It’s been about 5 years since I last went to these places and was wondering if they still offer them?

My husband and I just got our O Visa in KL. His will be for retirement and mine as the spouse. I just wanted to say how smooth and easy it was! We had everything on the checklist from their website. However, we had our medical certificates from Thailand, even though the checklist asks for medical certificate from Malaysia. And we had criminal checks from America. He quickly looked over our paperwork and we were in and out quickly both days. 👍

Hello, I am going to receive my non-B visa in Kuala Lumpur in a few weeks and I am wondering if anyone has had any issues here? I understand that Penang has changed its policies making it a lot more difficult to receive a non-B (which is why I plan on not going there.) I have all the necessary documents and plan on getting a Thai criminal background check. Is there anything that I should be weary of before going? Any tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone have any experience getting a SETV in Kuala Lumpur recently? Just wondering as the checklist on the website does NOT list to show proof of funds (only exit ticket and the other usual stuff) - but I know this is usually a general requirement. Can anyone advise?

I have 2 tourist visas in my passport first one is from May last year and second one is currently active. My current tourist visa is expiring soon so I'm planing to go to Kuala Lumpur and there apply for another tourist visa with which I would return in TH.

Should it be smooth and easy process like it was with first 2 tourist visas or should I expect some complications duo to fact that I'm asking for my third tourist visa?
