I want to apply for DTV next week at Kuala Lumpur. Their website has a list of 5 documents required for the soft power-related activities, but the Checklist_DTV.pdf at the bottom of the same page has 8, the extra ones are rental agreement and payslips/income proof. 

Do you know what they actually ask for?

My muay thai gym had a successful applicant at KL but they really messed him around. We advise avoid KL and Singapore.. they are super picky

they are not accept any applies in person any more and the new online system start from 8 Oct.

I heard they will change to online system. Consulate in KL is not very friendly.

Is there anyone in this group who has gotten a DTV in KL? I havent heard of anyone yet. Seems like KL is the worst consulate in Asia to get the DTV. I heard of someone getting it in Kota Bharu.

They won't want payslips for soft power but they will want to see you have signed up for and paid for a qualifying activity, with a qualifying organisation, as part of the process
