My spouse needs to get a Non-Immigrant “O” Visa -- Family Members/Dependents. Attached to my Non O retirement extension which I already have.

We're both US citizens.

We've decided to fly to Penang to apply. We have the marriage certificate and our lease here in BKK.

Couple questions,

1. I need to leave the country to do this so I'll need multiple re-entry which I don't currently have. Can I get that ahead of time? Can I get that now? Is it an extra stamp in the passport? What do you recommend?

2. I think the website says there's a couple days turn around for the dependent Non-O. Has anyone experienced this before? We're planning on staying there a week just in case.

Hi everyone,

Sufferer of anxiety so please excuse my question if it's a bit silly.

Uk citizen.

Ill be applying for a visa to visit my wife for 88 days in next month or so. I usually get the 60 day tourist visa and extend for 30 days at immigration.

I was just wondering if there was any advantages of obtaining the non imm o to visit my wife or is the tourist visa best/ easiest option?

Thanks for any help or advice.

UK passport. SETV ends 22 Jan.

Can I extend 60 days based on marriage at my local Immigration office (Bueng Kan)?

Anyone had experience of Bueng Kan IO (strict and bureaucratic or relaxed like Udon?)

If so, do I need 400k Baht in Thai bank for this 60 day extension or just the usual 20k Baht for extensions.

What steps and docs are needed?

Form TM7

Photos x 2

Marriage certificate (and copies)

Wife to attend with me???

Wife ID, Tabien Baan (and signed copies)

Proof of funds?? 20k or 400k in Thai bank

TM30 (and copy)

Passport and TM6 (and copies signed)

Flight out confirmation???

No hotel booking as staying with missus parents. Or is it better as a "tourist" to be hotel based and have copies of bookings?

1900B Fee

Thanks in advance.
