1. What time does the friendship bridge close for crossing? (My flight lands at 18:30 in Udon)

2. Is it still drop off day 1 and pick up day 2 after lunch for type O visas in Lao?

Quick one guys. Whats the fastest way to get to Udon Thani airport from Vientianne. Other than the bus. Got a flight to catch later part of the evening.

Just thought I would update on a discussion from last week as there was conflicting info flying around.

There IS a re-entry permit office at the border with Laos in Nong Khai. It's open every day from 8.30 to 16.30 (note this is different from the opening hours of the border itself). It's located on the left, just as you enter the border hut (where you stamp out of Thailand), but before you actually get stamped.

I assume the procedures are the same as everywhere else. It looked pretty quiet yesterday evening when I passed by!

Hi guys, I'm at the Laos boarder doing a visa alone. 400B to the Thai consulate is it expensive? First timer not sure where to go. On the tuktuk already
