TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a 60-day visa exemption that ends soon and is inquiring whether they can cross the Lao border to re-enter Thailand for an additional 30 days. Responses indicate that it's possible to either apply for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office or cross the border to receive a new 60-day visa exemption stamp. However, some border points may require staying in Laos for a minimum time before re-entering.

You don't have any visa at all right now, so you cannot get "another visa."

You can go to your local immigration office and apply for a 30-day extension one time. Or if you want you can leave Thailand and return to get a new 60-day visa exempt stamp. Some Laos borders require you to stay in Laos 1-2 nights if you're trying to enter Thailand without a visa.
