Is it better to stay in a hotel for a TM30 registration when applying for a visa extension in Thailand?

Hello,

For a visa exemption extension, I currently am registered on a TM30 at a condo I rented for 3 months in BKK.

Is it better to go in a hotel to make a TM30 for 1-2 nights and go get the 30 days extension at the immigration?

I am wondering if the TM30 being at a condo for months and not a hotel is seen as a red flag for immigration officers.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns the implications of staying in a condo versus a hotel for TM30 registration while seeking a 30-day visa exemption extension in Thailand. Comments indicate that having a current TM30 registered with Thai Immigration is sufficient, regardless of whether it is linked to a condo or a hotel. Users suggest presenting the TM30 receipt and any rental agreements if applicable when applying for the extension.

won't make any difference at all, As long as it's a current TM30 you're fine. Just print out the A4 TM30 receipt and use that address when you apply for the extension at IT Square Laksi Plaza

No problem...you have a TM30 registered with Thai Immigration.

In Bangkok you will use the Laksi Square Thai Immigration office for your 30 day extension of stay for 1,900 Thai baht.

It doesn't matter you'll be fine, just carry your recent TM30 and a rental agreement if you got one
