I have DTV and was recently offered a local job with short term contract. Is it worth to give up DTV for Non-B?
Answer summary
The decision to give up DTV for a Non-B visa depends largely on your circumstances, such as your nationality and the specifics of the job. If you hold a British passport, you can enter Thailand visa-exempt for a short stay. You need to complete a TDAC entry card and have evidence of departure, accommodation (like an Airbnb), and sufficient funds. Some users caution against unofficial TDAC websites, recommending the official immigration site for accurate information.

Assuming you hold a passport that allows you to enter visa exempt you just need the passport and to file a TDAC entry card just before you arrive. You should also have a ticket out, accommodation booked and 20k baht or equivalent in another major currency in CASH
Tristan Tuckwood correct can use air BnB/hotel address....many fake websites for tdac charging money. Use the official immigration website. It won't charge you money
