Hi All,

I am working on an application for a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand through the Thai e-visa site. I am a US citizen but not currently in the US. Can I still apply from outside my country of residency? And secondly, regarding proof of accomodation, do they require proof for all 60-nights?

Thank you in advance. Any help is appreciated.

Took 2 days for the Thai Embassy in London to approve my 60 day tourist visa which I had completed very impressive with it being a holiday here.

Kuala Lumpur tourist visa update:

They wanted to see flight bookings into Thailand and onwards, as well as proof of lodging here, and their completed and signed checklist along with the visa application form and cash. No financials required. Arrived 9:30am on Tuesday and was done in around 30 minutes, picked up at 2:30 the next day - was in and out in 5 minutes.

Flew back into DMK on Air Asia last night – used an express service on arrival so there was no queueing at all, no questions and even a hint of a smile from the Immigration Officer.

Up to that point I'd had a consecutive visa exempt entry and an SETV issued in Saigon, both of which I'd extended for 30 days.
