They wanted to see flight bookings into Thailand and onwards, as well as proof of lodging here, and their completed and signed checklist along with the visa application form and cash. No financials required. Arrived 9:30am on Tuesday and was done in around 30 minutes, picked up at 2:30 the next day - was in and out in 5 minutes.
Flew back into DMK on Air Asia last night – used an express service on arrival so there was no queueing at all, no questions and even a hint of a smile from the Immigration Officer.
Up to that point I'd had a consecutive visa exempt entry and an SETV issued in Saigon, both of which I'd extended for 30 days.

Anthony Evans, blocking me doesn't stop me from seeing your posts ;)
Please realize I meant no disrespect, I was only asking what if anything else was involved with your 'deportation'.
If you got a deportation stamp in your passport, you'd have gotten a letter in thai english too which said what section(s) of the immigration law they thought you violated and the stamp in the passport would have the reason too.
I think you might be okay crossing at a land border, because of the few people who were denied, several were able to go to other countries, get tourist visas from a thai consulate and enter the country via land.
I hate standing behind 400 noisy Chinese tourists arriving in Surat Thani every time I come back from KL. Until now I used Paracetamol but Express Service sounds a lot better. Wonder if they offer that down here?
Don't think so. I would have paid most of the time if anyone had offered me that service. One day I camped on the floor. Took 1,5 hours for one single A320... 🙄
Booked and paid for in advance - they wait for you at the gate as you disembark. Not aware of any that will offer on the spot service. Also the company I use won't accept a booking if you've ever had an overstay.
