TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the TR60 visa application process, specifically asking whether they can apply with proof of only 5 days' accommodation booked, given their plans to stay in Thailand for 40 days without further arrangements. Community responses indicate that providing proof for 5 days is generally acceptable, as long as they also show a flight out of Thailand within the allowed period. There is a suggestion that hotel booking confirmation is likely sufficient for the application.

Is booking confirmation OK,or does it have to be an actual invoice ?

Most important is showing flight out of Thailand within the 60 days.

5 days should be fine for applying for evisa through London consulate. If they don't like it they'll email you but I don't foresee any issues.
